This is a continuation a series I started awhile back. There’s a companion to this image over on this blog. If you live in the Richmond area, there’s a wealth of information about the Woodland Heights and Westover Hills areas to be found there.
A huge roar of thanks goes out to these boys’ mom. We’ve been trying to schedule this shoot for a long time and always something happened to stymie us. As near as I could tell, the lads got a big kick out of having stuff written on their hands. Add to that their amazing poker faces (they were smiling to beat the band when I was writing and when we were chimping the shots later).
I’m happy with where these are going, but I have to confess, I’m getting a little stumped on what to write on their hands that delivers a message about being a kid and only takes 8 characters. I’m open to suggestions.
