Bigger Every Day.
Site Update.
I’d been thinking about doing this for some time so when the opportunity presented itself, I got enough to add a few to the website.
I played with the contrast for this one, but the version over at the site is a little less… intense.
I like the shot and several of the others I got that day. Thanks, fellas. It was great.
Family.
Isn’t that what it’s all about anyway?
The mom pictured here liked the scans better than the contact sheet I gave her when I shot this series so I went back and pulled a few more. I like this combination and I prefer the border to not having one at all.
It’s funny how cross processed negs on the same roll, shot the same day under the same conditions can look so different. I had to play with the saturation in photoshop to make these come closer to matching. I wonder if printing them (which is how I used to do it) would have been markedly different.
Anyway, here they are:
And Another.
Laziness.
I have film to process and I haven’t done it. I also have a bunch of images I wanna work on and just haven’t gotten them done.
In the meantime, here’s an attempt at merging multiple images. It’s triptych. I just got these two gentlemen to model for me over the weekend and pulled these negs out of the archives. I think the next batch will be pretty cool.
Life on the Farm.
Actually, on the Farmtable Designs.
Shot some stuff for some buds of mine to update their website. It sort of gave me some insight into what catalog shooters must do. I’m not unhappy with the results but I’m certain I could’ve nailed this with an assistant.
Check out their site. It’s still being put together, but you can kinda get a feel for what they’re doing.
